How we handle currency

Every price on Voxrater is shown in US dollars, because that is the currency these platforms set and bill in. You can switch on a rough local-currency figure to help you budget, but the dollar number is the real one, and the only one we stand behind.

Why the dollar price is the real one

Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs, OpenAI and the rest quote and charge in USD, wherever you are. Anthropic's own pricing page puts it plainly: "All prices are in USD." So if we converted that into your local currency and showed it as the price, we would be inventing a number nobody is actually billed. We would rather show you exactly what the vendor charges, dated, with a link to their own page.

What the "≈" figures are

When you pick a currency in the "Show prices in" menu, we show a faint ≈ approximate figure next to the dollar price. It is a straight conversion at the European Central Bank reference rate (via frankfurter.dev), refreshed weekly. The rate we are using was published on 2026-06-03. It is there for a quick gut-check on affordability, nothing more.

Why it is only a rough guide

The converted figure is almost never what you will actually pay, for three reasons:

How to use it

Pick your currency in the menu at the top of the page to size up a platform quickly, then confirm the real figure on the vendor's pricing page before you commit. Your choice is remembered in your browser and sets no tracking cookie. If our rate ever falls more than two weeks behind, we hide the estimate and show dollars only, rather than quote you something stale.
