ServiceAgent
An AI phone answerer for home-services trades that books jobs and updates your dispatch CRM 24/7.
Paid link, we may earn a commission. How this works.
The trades receptionist. Built by the team behind JustCall, it answers calls for HVAC, plumbing and similar firms, books jobs and writes to your dispatch CRM. Credit-based plans from USD 0 to USD 279. It still brands itself 'launching soon' despite being live since 2025.
About $0.30 to 0.60 for a minute of conversation, once the phone line and the AI are added in.
That's roughly $18.00–36.00 an hour. Plans: from $0/mo (Launch) up to $279/mo (Franchise).

ServiceAgent bills in credits, not per minute or per call. A voice minute costs 15 credits and a credit is USD 0.02 to 0.04, so a call minute works out at roughly USD 0.30 to 0.60 (derived from ServiceAgent's own credit rates, not a published per-minute price). Plans bundle a monthly credit allowance, with pay as you go beyond it. The platform/STT/LLM/TTS/telephony split is not published. Extra fees stack on top: per-plan payment processing (e.g. 1.1% + USD 0.70 on Launch) and an ad-management fee of 5 to 10% of ad spend.
Every plan in one place: the monthly fee, what each one includes, and the features it unlocks. Anything beyond a plan's allowance, or on a pay-as-you-go tier, is billed at the per-minute rate above. A blank in the features means the vendor's plan page does not state it for that plan, not that it is unavailable.

Credits are a prepaid balance you spend as you generate, like topping up a card. Here about one credit buys one character of speech and roughly 1,000 characters is a minute, so the bracketed figure is the speaking time each plan covers.

Our full take
ServiceAgent prices in credits, which makes the real cost a little harder to read than a plain per-minute rate. A voice minute costs 15 credits, and a credit is USD 0.02 to 0.04, so a minute on the phone works out at roughly USD 0.30 to 0.60. Plans run from a free pay-as-you-go Launch tier up to Franchise at USD 279/mo (billed annually), each bundling a monthly credit pot: Core gives 2,000 credits (about 133 voice minutes), Growth 6,000. Watch the fees that sit on top, though: per-plan payment processing and an ad-management cut of 5 to 10% of ad spend.
The pitch is trade-specific. ServiceAgent ships agents trained for HVAC, plumbing, roofing, solar and similar firms, and the draw is the integrations: it reads your live schedule and books jobs straight onto the dispatch board in Jobber, ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro, with Salesforce, HubSpot and Zapier alongside. It is built by SaaS Labs, the team behind JustCall, so there is real telephony pedigree here rather than a brand-new indie tool.
Two things to check before you lean on it. First, the site still shows a “launching soon, join the waitlist” banner next to live metrics and a working signup, which is confusing; it has actually been live since April 2025, but the messaging muddies what is shippable today. Second, at that launch a couple of core features (direct appointment booking and routing urgent calls to a human) were listed as coming soon, so confirm they are live for your use before relying on them. We have marked human transfer as not yet confirmed for that reason.
On compliance, there is a SOC 2 badge in the footer but no report you can open, and no HIPAA or GDPR claim, so treat the posture as unverified. The provider stack (speech, model, voice) is not disclosed either. There is a separate developer side, an API with signed webhooks and an MCP server, aimed at custom builds, but that is distinct from the receptionist product covered here. We have not placed our own test calls yet, so there are no Voxrater latency numbers; the figures above come from ServiceAgent’s pricing, launch announcement and docs, captured 2026-06-15.
